Typically matter-of-fact and pragmatic, his serious attitude often leads to him becoming very stressed over people whether out of concern or due to them being a massive pain in his ass. He has a tendency to become irate, and often has a sour look on his face; But overall he is not a bad person. He often struggles with his own ideals, whether balancing, solidifying, or realizing them, and tends to think quite a bit about what others think despite having an aloof attitude. Megumi struggles greatly with being selfish, or the thought of doing something that he perceives to be 'self-centered', and has a tendency to neglect himself.
He greatly values the friends and family that he has, and is more than willing to put his life on the line for them without wasting a second thought. Though his shikigami are a means for combat, he is very attached to them and will become very depressed upon losing one more than he would in the face of someone he does not know's death.
